It is sometimes hard to isolate an element, enough to make it stand out from a crowded environment. And sometimes, it is easier, as they are already isolated. This is where it becomes interesting: how to show the isolation in a less obvious way? The reflexion holds on the technique, it goes without saying, but it is the artistic play with lines and spaces that interest me. It forces the photographer AND the viewer to watch through a different angle, to make it exist as its own entity.
