Experimentation is at the heart of my vision of what art is, or at least where it is born. As my pictures tend to be landscape oriented, I needed to experiment and give another dimension to my work.

Verticality isn't so much a shift of an angle but a completely different way of showing objects. It always felt restrictive to me, being so drawn to huge spaces and landscapes. It isn't as close as how my eyes usually look at things. 
I tried here to translate this; I tried to show the restriction while keeping it interesting to my eye and hopefully to my viewers'.
